What's Wrong With This Picture?
TOM CRUISE FIRES HIS SISTER!
Yesterday I did a doubletake as I saw this picture accompanying this headline. At first, I thought - oh Lord - NOW he's kissing his sister! After I got over the initial disgust and shock, I realized that this particular news service was posting this picture of Tom and KATIE along with the headline. You'd think by now I would recognize these two having been "graced" (said sarcastically) with pictures of the two of them plastered all over the place engaged in PDA. But no, the media AND Tom Cruise continue to amaze me -- and not in a good way. There was a resulting poll (I could not resist voting) as to whether a new publicist could "fix" Tom's image. 70% people said no. I was one of them. He just outright gives me the creeps now. If you REALLY want to ruin my day, throw a picture of Brat Pitt ("let me show no class and take provocative pictures with my purported lover right after my marriage breakup") and Angelina ("drink my blood") Jolie.
I went to Charm School when I was a teenger. Yup! I graduated too. I was also in a sorority where we had "Gracious Living" every Tuesday night. At the time, we made light fun of it -- learning to be "perfect ladies." But now, I think some of these folks in Hollywood would benefit from a little stint at Charm School, Gracious Living, SOMETHING to get them to BEHAVE.
Tom, Katie, Brat, Angelina - report immediately to TIME OUT. You're all GROUNDED.

What's wrong with Angelina? She can't be all bad. Didn't she adopt some orphan kids or do I have that wrong? I worked with my sis a lot - for example, she washed the dishes and I dried (pre-dishwasher days) and I peeled the potatoes and she cooked them.I got a spanking one time because she forgot to tell me to scrub the kitchen floor when I got home from school. I would have fired her over that one if I could. I wonder what ticked off ole Tom enuf to give his sis a pink slip. Old Baldy
Tom's sis couldn't fix him. Neither will his new publicist. He blew it when he got crazy with Matt Lauer and lit into Brooke Shields for treating her depression. Unfortunately, this gifted actor showed his true self, just once, and we won't be forgettin' it!
As for Brad and Angelina, may they be happy together, revelling in their own conceited beauty! Jen gets the last laugh, waltzing away with Vince Vaughan (he's much more interesting than Brad, anyway).

I feel kind of sorry for Tom. He doesn't seem to be the sharpest guy around. And soon (or maybe it's happened already) he won't be young either (&I can't picture him in a really "mature" role), at which point it's hard to say what he'll have going for him.
I whole-heartedly agree with you.
I'd like to take Tom for a tour through the hospitals and show them how the only way these patients are getting better is through the miracle of modern medicine and not through the herbal crap those scientologists push. I really think the COS is paying him to be their spokesperson...and it backfired.
I just can't help to think of all the Schizophrenics and sufferers of severe depression who can function now in society thanks to their meds. (There was a time they were sent to spend the rest of their lives in asylums).
It's like some celebrities really should shut up when asked to speak about something they absolutely know nothing about.

As for Katie, I actually used to like her (yes, I was a fan of Dawson's Creek) unfortunately without the help of snappy writers (ala Dawson's Creek) she can't managed to put a single sentence together. If I see one more quote from her with the word "Amazing" or the phrase, "I'm just so happy/lucky." I'm going to puke, scream and then puke again...
Am I the ONLY one who thinks it is odd that wife/girlfriend number 4 (that we know of) is the ONLY one he managed to get pregnant? I mean... safe sex aside... he and Nicole adopted, Mimi Rogers - nothing, Penelope - nothing. Yet, less than 6 months with Katie and she's pregnant?
Something smells... fishy.

Boy, do I agree with you! At least the old time stars and entertainers knew how to keep their private lives somewhat private and they didn't go around bragging about their exploits and purposely doing crap to get publicity - or did they?
Most of the younger people need some charm school classes nowadays.....I sound just like my mother....LOL.
I KNEW I liked you...I can't stand the ones who are considered so gorgeous and all in Hollywood.
