It was HOT!

My date was HOT. We went to an outdoor arena for a concert. It was over 90 degrees. It was hot. We tried not to concentrate on the heat. It worked. We went to dinner (cool), and it was very enjoyable. He was very attentive and fun. We both had a really nice time. Being the first date and all, one has to keep things in perspective. He did mention future dates. We do have quite a bit in common, and we talked about that. He was a perfect gentleman. I would definitely go out with him again. He's one of those people you feel like you've known a really long time. I REALLY don't want him to find out about the windfall for many reasons. See, these are the problems one faces with a windfall -- I don't want anybody who wants me for my money.

I'm glad you had a good time Windfall on your date. I agree with you on not letting him know about the windfall. It's the wise thing to do. You want someone who likes you for who you are, not what they can get from you. He may not be that type, but exploring his feelings for you while knowing he doesn't know about your financial situation will allow you to see better what he is about.

If he hurts you, there will be one pissed off cornbread. (and I am shure many others)

Do you best to keep him from finding out about it. Glad it was a success.

You enjoyed yourself, which is the main thing.
I'll back ole Cornbread on his sentiments there; you're a dear lady and deserve to be treated as such.

WFW: can't tell from your posting what his financial circumstances are but you may want to learn more about him. Did he pay or you or did you share? None of my business and don't expect you to reply but sometimes actions speak louder than words. Short of it is don't spend money with him other than what an ordinary pretty gal like yourself would do. That is until you get to know more about him. Hey - I think I'll just hang out a shingle down off the highway - maybe I can get some advising business to supplement my chicken raisin' Old Baldy

It is nice to see you had a good time just enjoy yourself and take you time. Handle the situation as you would without the windwall. In time you will know what this person is all about and if he is to be the one you will know it.

Just enjoy yourself for you deserve someone special as you are.

A good friend is going through the same thing--she won a smallish lottery ($15 million, ending up with about five million after taxes, etc.) and is afraid that she won't know if a man is all about her or the money if they know.

Hh
